Terms and conditions
Last updated 4 November 2026
These are the rules for using infr. They are written to be read: what is free, what you pay for, how teams and live sessions work, and what each of us is responsible for.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use infr, the infrastructure diagramming and analysis tool at infr.space (the service). The service is run by Zak Noble-Clarke, a sole trader ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it.
You can use the editor without an account. Some parts of the service need one, and some need a paid plan. These terms say what applies to each.
2. The service
The editor, the analysis and everything that runs in your browser are free. Your diagrams are kept in your browser unless you choose to save them to the cloud or share them in a live session.
Two paid plans add features. infr plus adds cloud storage for your own diagrams and hosting live sessions. infr teams adds those for every member of a team, plus storage the team shares. We may improve, change or remove features. If we remove something you pay for, we will tell you and you can cancel.
3. Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email address. Keep your mailbox secure: anyone who can read that email can sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Give us a correct email address and keep it up to date. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live to buy a paid plan.
4. Paid plans and billing
infr plus costs £3 a month. infr teams costs £5 a month for the team plus £1 a month for each member, the owner included, so a team of four pays £9 a month. Prices are in pounds sterling and include any tax we must charge unless the checkout says otherwise.
Plans are billed monthly in advance by Stripe and renew each month until cancelled. When a team gains or loses a member, the member part of the price changes and Stripe charges or credits the difference for the rest of that month.
You can cancel at any time from your account. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep the paid features until then. We do not refund the part of a period already paid for, except where the law says we must. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
We may change prices. We will give you notice before a change takes effect, and it applies from your next renewal. If you do not agree, cancel before then.
5. Teams
The person who creates a team is its owner. The owner invites members by email, removes members, pays for the team and can delete it. A member can leave at any time. Inviting someone, and accepting an invitation, needs an account with the invited email address.
Diagrams saved to a team's shared storage can be opened by every member of the team. Members can delete diagrams they saved, and the owner can delete any of the team's diagrams. If a team is deleted, its shared diagrams are deleted with it.
If a team's subscription ends, members keep read access to the shared diagrams, but cannot save new ones or host sessions through the team until it is renewed. An owner cannot delete their account while their team has other members: remove them or delete the team first.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of your diagrams and everything you put into the service. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run the service for you: saving them, showing them to the people you choose, and keeping backups where we run them.
Do not put anything in the service that you have no right to use, or that is unlawful. You are responsible for removing anything that should not be there.
7. Live sessions
A host with a paid plan can share their canvas in a live session. Anyone with the session code can join, without an account. The host chooses whether viewers can only watch or can also change the canvas, and everyone in a session can see each other's pointer and display name. The host is responsible for what is shown, for who they give the code to, and for whether they let viewers edit. Codes are not a secret you can keep once shared.
While a session runs, your diagram passes through our server and is held in memory. It is not saved when the session ends. Sessions end when the host stops, closes the page or loses connection for longer than a short grace period. Limits apply to the number of viewers and the size of a diagram.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to harass anyone, or to attack, overload or probe the service or other people's accounts. Do not try to get around limits, rate limits or access controls, or use the service to send unwanted email.
We may limit or suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why.
9. The analysis is a model
infr analyses the diagram you draw and the figures you enter. It finds problems in your design and tests what happens when parts fail. It cannot know how your real systems behave, and a design with no findings can still fail.
Hardware and cloud figures in the catalog come from the vendors' published information. They may be out of date or incomplete, and a figure left blank means it was not confirmed. Check anything you rely on against the vendor. The results are guidance, not a guarantee, and decisions made using them are yours.
10. Availability
We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available, error free, or that data in the cloud will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything important: you can always save a diagram to a file.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account from the account page. Deleting it ends any subscription immediately, takes no further payment, and deletes your profile, photo and diagrams saved in the cloud. This cannot be undone.
We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on liability and the law that applies, continue after your use ends.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or limits your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for loss caused by something outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you for anything connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you use only the free service, we provide it as it is, without warranty.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version will be published on this page with its date. If a change affects what you pay or what a paid plan includes, we will tell you before it applies. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms, billing or your account: [email protected].
15. Law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes, unless the law of the place where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
